3M Rectangular Plaster Finishing Trowel

100% manufactured in Italy, these 3M 0.6 mm thick stainless steel trowels are the preferred finishing tool for polished plaster finishes.

Special trowels for applying and polishing stucco. The stainless steel trowel has a rectangular shape and rounded corners. The edge of the blade is sharp and ready-to-use.

The handle, which is made of rubber instead of wood, can be left to soak in water for a long period of time when you want to clean it. For use when applying the final coats of Marmorino, applying soap, and all delicate finishes.

All of the trowels should have a slight curve which allows the center part of the blade to come in contact with the wall first. If there is no curve or it is not convex enough, we recommend that you curve it by pressing equally on each of the four corners (there should be a difference of about 2 mm between the middle and the corners of the blade).

Did you know? - The trapezoidal trowel shape was developed to mimic the feel of a well broken-in trowel, which many applicators prefer. However, finishing trowels with a square shape are preferred by some applicators and available at a slightly lower price than their trapezoidal counterpart.
